Fees are set by the individual Anaesthetist and consider factors such as the complexity and duration of the procedure. There may be a ‘gap’ or out of pocket expense associated with your account.

Private health fund rebates help to reduce this cost.

Informed Financial Consent

Prior to your surgery you may either receive an Informed Financial Consent document detailing your anaesthetic fees or your anaesthetist may discuss the fee structure with you.
